Feel Good Singing

About Louise

I sing because it feels good, and I don’t think there’s any other reason needed!

I grew up playing piano, and teaching myself guitar and singing in high school. I lived abroad for 10 years after completing my bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley.

After returning to California at age 32, I rediscovered my love of music through participating in song circles. There I discovered the healing powers of sound, harmony, and song weaving in community.

I’ve learned song circle facilitation from Heather Houston’s Sisters in Harmony training and now create the space for others to benefit from developing their connection with music as much as I have.

Working on my relationship with my voice made me feel more grounded, embodied, joyful, and at peace.

My goal in song circle facilitation is to share the benefits of music for health and well being, and inspire people to incorporate music as a key piece to a satisfying life!
